The club has an extensive bowling history in-house which stretches back to the 1930’s.
Inevitably there are gaps in each trophy’s history for a variety of reasons and, indeed, some have not been played for for many years.
One thing they all have in common is that there is a member not too far away from your quizzical look who can tell you the history of each and every one of them.
Most of the competitions are handicap KO format but then there are the ‘oddities’ like the Dick Hulme Pairs where the ‘better’ players have their names pulled out of one hat and their partners name comes out of another. Interesting.
