The Memorial Club has an excellent snooker room with three top draw tables that are maintained to the highest standards in a dedicated room with own bar access in a package that is accepted as the finest in the area.
The Club is host to the Knutsford and District Amateur League - a league in which four club teams both play and regularly win honours from. Several team members are also amongst the top sticks in the region and regular winners of individual and ‘non team’ (pairs, 3 player etc) competitions.
The Club is also the host for the local Youth Snooker Academy where, under the wing of our resident top players, Junior Members can develop
their snooker skills prior to testing themselves in the local leagues.
In late 2005, the snooker room was fully refurbished in terms of decor, carpeting and furnishings and in 2006, the tables (bed and cushions) were re-clothed, stretched, refitted and pocketed to the exacting standard you see.
The club employs a full time table maintenance member, to ensure the tables are always in top condition.
By now you can tell that the club takes snooker seriously and all at a cost which is almost laughable when compared to a private snooker member’s club.
